A Message from the Executive Officer Dear HBRA Members, The May General Membership Meeting at Clarke in South Norwalk was a buzz with attendees honoring the Building Official of the Year. Congratulations to Peter Solheim, Head Building Official from the Town of Darien. See pages 6-7 for photos of the evening. If you have not already registered for the 70th Anniversary Annual Meeting you need to do so by May 25th. The evening will be an epic event honoring past presidents, the HBRA board and 2 of our members - Joanne Carroll and Scott Hobbs. Entertainment for the evening will be Carmen Ciricillo known as “The Construction Comic.” The Fiano Family Golf Classic is set for June 29th to benefit the NAHB BUILD-PAC. If you can’t make the event you can still donate - see page 5 for details. Some big events are also on the horizon - The Golf Outing on July 20th at Whitney Farms Golf Course, the September 7th Clambake at the Jackie Durrell Pavilion at Fairfield Beach and The Yankee Game and dinner on Arthur Avenue at Pasquale Rigoletto on September 29th.
