What’s Happening at the HBRA Fairfield 70th Anniversary - 2016 Annual Meeting, June 1st This year marked the 70th anniversary of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County(HBRA). Over 220 members and guests attended our annual meeting at the Trumbull Marriott. New officers and board members were installed, two scholarships were awarded to local students and two of the association’s members were honored for their support of the organization. The evening included the installation of Chris Steiner, Vice-President of Steiner, Inc. as President of the HBRA of Fairfield County and three brand new board members, Brian Kurtz, Interstate Lumber, Rob Michaud, The Michaud Group, and Steven Roth, Elevator Service Company. The Associate’s Council, a committee of the HBRA, presented the 2016-17 Associate Council awards to Scott Hobbs, co-owner of Hobbs Inc, of New Canaan, and Joanne Carroll, President of JMC Resources, the publisher of CT Builder Magazine and producer of the CT Home Building Industry (HOBI) awards.
