A Message from the Executive Officer Dear HBRA Members, Thanks to all of our members and their guests who attended the 70th anniversary Annual Meeting. Over 220 were there to take part in the festivities, including nine Past Presidents. The evening was capped off with a hilarious performance by Carmen Ciricillo, known as the “Construction Comic. “ Thanks to Kim Tyler Photography for the evenings photos. Congratulations to our new officers and newly elected board members. I look forward to working with all of you. Special congratulations to Joanne Carroll and Scott Hobbs - the 2016-17 Associate Council Honorees. I would also like to thank the Associate Council for the fine work this committee has produced. Some big events are on the horizon - The 2016 HBRA Golf Outing presented by Ring’s End on July 20th at Whitney Farms Golf Course. Golf foursomes are almost sold out, but you can still take part - join us for dinner and a putting contest! Contact the office or see the website for details. Two great events in September! On the 7th we have the second annual Clambake at the Jackie Durrell Pavilion at Fairfield Beach, sponsored by Marlin Electric and Gold Coast Property Maintenance. You will want to sign up early as we sold out last year. The Yankee vs Red Sox Game and pre-game dinner on Arthur Avenue is set for September 29th, sponsored by City Carting, United Bank and William Pitt Sotheby’s. We have chartered a bus that will take us to Pasquale Rigoletto for dinner and then to Yankee Stadium. Tickets are limited and already selling. Be sure to check out the member benefits pages.
