HBRA EVENTS HBRA NEWS Professional Women in Building Council January Meeting at Saugatuck Rowing Club Our January Professional Women in Building Council had the largest turnout yet with 37 industry professionals in attendance. Now one year old, the council has grown to 46 members ranging from builders, architects, designers, lenders, insurance agents, suppliers and more. At this meeting, Michelle Hogue of Hogue Interior Design led an inspiring presentation entitled “Contracts & Boundaries” with a special emphasis on the importance of the work/life balance and it’s unique challenges for women. The council also celebrated the top award from the National Association of Home Builders for the largest member retention rate in the large council category.
