The event will be held at the Double Tree Inn, Norwalk from 6PM to 9PM. The event is sponsored by City Carting and Recycling. The Fairfield County HBRA membership represents over 400 businesses and thousands of families and workers and is the leading voice of the homebuilding and remodeling industries in Southwestern CT. We estimate that 100 new homes will generate 324 new jobs, $21.1 million in income, and $2.6 million in revenue for local government in the year they are built; and a total of $8.9 million in taxes, fees and charges paid to all governments in the year built. With an urgency and importance unparalleled in our association’s history, we are looking to the Governor, legislature and all state and local regulators: • To reduce and streamline regulations on land development and building • To make Connecticut a more productive, attractive place to be an entrepreneur and add jobs our citizens need • To allow home builders, by removing obstacles, to provide more affordable housing to grow our economy.
