The training will cover the residential requirements of the new 2018 CT State Building Code, including: • 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) residential requirements (which are the same requirements as Chapter 11 of the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC)). • Sample project showing compliance with the 2015 IECC. • REScheck for the sample project. He has over 45 years of experience in public works administration, engineering, economic development and customer relations with electric and gas utilities. He has previously served on ASHRAE committees and is a current member of Connecticut’s Codes and Standards Committee.
