Installation Banquet The final ceremony, Installation of the 2017 President, was performed by Ron Padgett to have all witness the oath and commitment of David Padgett as our incoming President. David received the President’s Gavel, provided by First American Title Insurance Co., along with the official NAHB Local President Pin. David’s incoming speech shared his experiences as a child growing up in the HBA and acknowledged fellow members that are also generation family companies. It is from these experiences that he encourages everyone to get the next generation involved as much as possible because the future of our industry depends on it. He also shared the importance of taking advantage of seminars and the knowledge that is available at the local, state and national levels. “In closing, the HBA is there for you and your business if you need help. We are here to help your business succeed through second and third generations. We are here to help you continually learn to make your business better and more informed.
