"The GDA Transport Fund has truly changed m I struggle to get about but so desperately wan be part of a group that could support my hea loss. The Fund now pays for me to attend a monthly Hard of Hearing Club - I've made new friends and my confidence is growing every day" Thanks to this Fund, people across Gloucestershire can once again feel part of something - the fund pays for them to attend GDA's popular social engagements such as our Friendship Circle summer and Christmas parties. The different educational classes we hold, the regular deaf clubs for children and young people, or our monthly Lunch Club for elderly Deaf people. All these services give a person a sense of belonging in a supportive and friendly environment. Sadly, the Transport Fund isn't an endless pot of money, so this evening's event, as well as being about having a great time, is raising money to give the pot a nice big boost. £30 will help pay for transport to help an Thanks to your generosity even more people will be able to benefit from the Transport Fund and enjoy the wide variety of life-transforming activities and support GDA provides, something that they simply wouldn't be able to otherwise. isolated Deaf or hard of hearing person access specialist services and support and get them home again
