MUSEUM SPOTLIGHT! Kevin Mulligan Volunteer Of The Month Kevin started volunteering at CSPM in March of 2016. He works the Wednesday morning shift on the front desk and also transcribes oral history audio tapes for the archives. He volunteers at the Museum because of his interest in U.S. Western history. He enjoys welcoming visitors to our beautiful building and talking a little about the exhibits, especially Helen Hunt Jackson’s. His special memory so far is a white-knuckled drive home from the Museum during the whiteout blizzard of March 2016. Kevin is retired after 42 years as a civilian employee with the Department of Defense. He is an avid reader, plays mediocre golf, and likes to travel. His wife, Suzanne, is President of the Pikes Peak Genealogical Society, so Kevin spends time with her searching for ancestors by walking through old cemeteries and visiting obscure county clerk offices. MUSEUM STORE Gifts Artisans Jewelry Books The Museum Store has joined with the Colorado Springs Utilities to sell the book “It’s How We’re All Connected, ” by Jerry Forte with Margaret Radford ($15.00).
