The pandemic and its effects on the economy make this an unimaginably diffi cult time for an already challenging tragedy. I would like to thank our partner community organizations and fi rst responders for having been the front line of support for these residents. As with previous disasters in our city, our community will show up and provide these families with the support they need to stay safe and healthy as we enter a new, brighter year.” Impacted families have received monetary support from Red Cross Massachusetts, Women Encouraging Empowerment, Inc., and CAPIC, Inc., and will continue to receive support in their search for stable housing through CAPIC. The Colombian Consulate in Boston has also provided support connecting impacted residents with the Mayor’s Offi ce. The Fund will be open through the new year.
