Therefore, Pressley said, she will continue to push for funding to support community art. “I love that this was a grassroots eff ort; art belongs everywhere; we’ve got your back,” she said. Mayor Carlo DeMaria also shared his thoughts about the Art Walk. “I am proud to support the Everett Cultural Council for funding the Everett Community Art Walk along with other outstanding projects,” he said. “I also want to thank our legislative delegation for providing the annual appropriation to the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which allows them to fund many art and cultural projects in our community.
