The first visitors to the casino had lined up as early as the day before. Everett United and elected officials from the community took part in a special opening ceremony on the entrance steps. A ceremony was held in front of the casino prior to its opening on Sunday morning. State Representative Dan Ryan; State Senator Sal DiDomenico; Encore Boston Harbor’s Executive Director of Government & Community Relations, John Tocco; and Jess Tocco enjoyed the grand opening of Encore Boston Harbor. Encore Boston Harbor President Bob DeSalvio welcomed the first visitors to the resort casino. Mayor Carlo DeMaria thanked residents for their support of Encore Boston Harbor. City Councillors Rosa DiFlorio and Anthony DiPierro attended the opening ceremony for Encore Boston Harbor. Frances DeSalvio and Encore Boston Harbor President Bob DeSalvio waited for the opening ceremony to begin in the entrance to Encore Boston Harbor. Members of Everett United were pleased to enjoy a special breakfast before the opening ceremony. Special guests took part in an opening ceremony at Encore Boston Harbor.
