Florence Leah Tilley Florence passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 2, 2019 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peabody. She was 90 years of age. Born and raised in Chelsea, she is the daughter of the late Andrew and Eliza M. (Callahan) Tilley. Florence attended Chelsea Public Schools and graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1946. She began her working career at the former Index Bureau Insurance Company in Boston, which later became the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. She dedicated 50 years of service before retiring in 1997. Florence was an Everett resident for 50 years before moving to her home at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peabody.
